CoKoCon 2018: Authors among Stacks

As you know, Duncan’s Books and More will be out at the new Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention, CoKoCon 2018. We have been preparing in the background and are excited to announce some of the authors that we will have among the stacks and at the event.

As normal, we will consign books for authors who will be at the event but who don’t have their own space. All of the authors we will be working with are participants at the convention. They will have panels and presentations that you will want to check the event page as everything is scheduled. Check CoKoCon Programming for more information. There will also be book signings set up in the dealer’s room for those who want their books signed. We will try to have that schedule of book signings for you the week before the event.

We are excited to be working with our lovely TL Smith who writes military sci-fi. We will also be working with Hal C. F. Astell whose work includes nonfiction about the film world. We have Arabella Thorne who writes about elves. David Lee Summers will be with us and his steampunk universe. We have Jamie Wyman who writes both urban fantasy and has short fiction mystery in the anthology Two Hundred and Twenty One Baker Streets as well as Alt.Sherlock.Holmes. We will be including Cynthia Ward who writes science fiction and Stephanie L. Weippert who writes both science fiction and fantasy as well as whatever tickles her fancy. All of our authors we are excited to work with and we hope readers will come check out their work at the convention.

We know a lot of readers will be there for our big name guests so of course we will have books by Harry Turtledove and Beth Cato, both of whom have been wonderful to work with getting their work into the bookstore. We also will have books by Tom Leveen who is a participant as well as H. Paul Honsinger. All of our books by Tom Leveen and H. Paul Honsinger are already signed but you can get them personalized.

This is going to be a big event for us and we will have more news the week before CoKoCon. For now, we will see you all among the stacks!
