Out and About: Tempe and Scottsdale

Well, it’s a new year! Hope all of our readers had wonderful holidays full of books and family. As we step into January, it’s time to give you all the out and about scoop on our next two events, one week apart.

First up is Tempe Fan Con, a family fun event for geeks and comic book lovers. Tempe Public Library FanCon 2020, hosted by Tempe Library at 3500 S Rural Rd, Tempe, Arizona 85282 is an annual event hosted by the library with costume costumes, artists and authors, shopping, food, and activities for children and adults alike. Duncan’s Books and More will be there with our books as well as supporting author, Natsuya Uesugi once again with his art and books. The event is held Saturday, January 26th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Please come join us for books, comics, and more.

Our next event is new to us. We will be vendors for the Scottsdale Library’s Local Author Book Sale. Several of our local authors suggested us to assist and we are looking forward to being part of supporting and highlighting local authors across the Arizona. The 7th Annual, the event will be held Saturday, February 1st, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Civic Center Library, 3803 N Drinkwater Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ. and will host authors from all genres for readers of all ages and interests. We are excited to be helping these wonderful local authors. We hope you will join us and find a new book for your collection!

Until next time, see you among the stacks!
