I Hope This Email Finds You in Hell by Mackenzie Reed is a paranormal road trip through hell with romance between the leads. While the initial beginning took me a while to get hooked, I found myself invested in Luke and Brie’s mission. I also found the mysteries surrounding both characters intriguing. While Luke’s back story starts out feeling like the standard hero, it twists and turns into something far more complex. 

The novel is action packed and the romantic elements are steamy enough to curl your hair. I also like the grief, loss and darkness that both Luke and Brie experience but that also bonds the pair of them on their journey to rescue the others. I love how we discover the truth both of them are hiding and how strong a character Brie is as fights to help Luke. 

If you like paranormal road trips and steamy romance, I Hope This Email Finds You in Hell is a great read. The ending is action packed and thrilling. I love how the romance resolves and the world of the underworld is full of intriguing details. While it was a slow start, I loved the overall story.
